Online appointments are now available to book
Telephone and face to face consultations are available to book online. For telephone calls, your doctor will ring you as close to your appointments time as possible. Please ensure if you use a mobile, that you are in an area with good reception.

Wednesday: 08:30-13:00
Appointments for the day are released each morning at 08:30. We may ask you to give a reason for the appointment, please do not be offended. This is to help our team signpost you to the most appropriate clinician in the practice to deal with your request.
Practice Nurses
To book an appointment with our nurse team, please call the appointments line or speak to a receptionist.
Ours nurses carry out health checks, asthma and diabetic reviews, wound dressings, injections, cervical smears, travel vaccinations, and phlebotomy.

Extended Hours HUB will be at Ashfurlong Medical Centre Ashfurlong Medical Centre, 233 Tamworth Road, Sutton Coldfield, B75 6DX.
Weekday evening appointments are telephone only. Face to face appointments are available at the hub on Saturday.
Livi
Livi is working in partnership with Ashfield Surgery to provide FREE GP video consultations for our patients; appointments are booked via the Livi app with is available on most smartphones via the app store.

They offer a range of appointment times to suit your needs including evening and weekend appointments and can cover a range of medical needs including coughs and colds, fever, fit notes, UTIs, anxiety and depression, and many other health queries.

Cancellations
Once you have been given an appointment time, please ensure you are available for the GP or nurse for telephone consultations. Demand on clinician time is very high , and not being available or non-attendance of booked appointments is a waste of valuable time which increases the general waiting time for an appointment. Patients are expected to give advanced notice (at least 1 hour) if they are unable to attend. Repeated failure to do this may lead to removal from our list.
